Counseling
Individual
The goal of every therapist is to offer treatment that works for each client as an individual. The therapists at Solid Ground take an integrative approach to counseling. That means we use psychological principles and spiritual truths to tailor a specific treatment plan for each client.
Group
Solid Ground Counseling offers you the opportunity to explore your feelings and discuss problems with people who are struggling with similar issues. Group counseling provides the support and understanding that you may need to get through a difficult situation or state in your life. A Solid Ground Counseling group is a place where you can experience safe, honest, and caring relationships.

Couples
Solid Ground Counseling offers couples the opportunity to learn the tools and traits that are needed to achieve a healthy and functional relationship. This can be done by couples in or out of the context of marriage. Here couples can learn how to communicate and manage delicate and serious issues. Couples counseling is also available for non-married couples who want to prepare for marriage or simply develop a better relationship.
Psychological Testing
Solid Ground Counseling offers a wide range of assessments for adults, adolescents, and children. Assessments can provide insight and understanding into personality and interpersonal relationships, and can help to explain why people behave or think the way they do. Assessments are often used in individual counseling to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and how they relate to others. Assessments may also be used in marital or premarital counseling to identify personality traits and attitudes which may impact compatibility or conflict between partners.
Public Speaking
Staff members at Solid Ground counseling are available for custom created presentations and/or workshops for youth groups, women's/men’s groups, retreats, student events, church events, and corporate training.

Solid Ground Counseling recognizes that our country is facing some very trying times, both home and abroad. As a result so many Americans have made great sacrifices to defend and support our freedoms and way of life. It is our desire, at Solid Ground Counseling, to make every attempt to help those who help us. We offer services to aid those in the armed forces & public service as well as their families. These services include:
-Individual counseling for the returning solder. Special attention can be given to dealing with traumatic events or adjusting to civilian life.
-Family counseling to help families manage while their loved one is away from home.
-Bereavement counseling, should the unthinkable happen.
-Child counseling to help little ones of all ages deal with these difficult issues.
