Amber received her Bachelor’s in Pastoral Ministry from Spring Arbor University. She later went on to receive her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Moody Theological Seminary. Amber has experience working with a variety of issues, including relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and grief and loss. Amber has specialized training in treating trauma, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Amber has clinical experience working with survivors of domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual violence. Amber’s approach utilizes mindfulness-based interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), emotionally healthy relationship skills, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Amber specializes in faith-integrated Christian counseling and can be provided at the client’s request. Amber works with individuals ages 16 and up.
