Couples WOrkshop: the Seven principles for making marriage work

An 8-week group workshop for couples utilizing the Gottman Seven Principles. The goal is to help couples learn and use our research-based exercises and methods to improve relationships.

  • Saturday’s from 2:00 - 3:30pm, from October 4th to November 22nd in Plymouth

  • $40/couple/session or $300 for all 8 weeks

  • Group led by Liz Keller, Gottman Leader & pre-licensed graduate counseling intern

 

Teen support group

A safe place for teens 13 - 17 who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, self-worth, peer pressure/bullying to talk without judgement.

  • Fridays 6 to 7:30pm, from September 19th to October 24th in Plymouth

  • Private pay $/session, certain insurances accepted

  • Facilitated by Marissa Eans, LLMSW

 
 

Anxiety support group

A group focused on assisting young adults in identifying and coping with their experiences of anxiety whether they’re caused by challenging experiences, social situations, daily life, or other anxiety-based difficulties (ex. OCD). There will also be the option to end with an open discussion without a set topic allowing them to share and obtain support even in areas outside of anxiety.

  • Facilitated by Megan Senita, LLP and Todd Crawford, TLLP

 

SUBSTANCE ABUSE SUPPORT FOR FIRST RESPONDERS

Confidential peer to peer support led by a licensed mental health professional and experienced first responder. Offering tools and strategies specific to the challenges and demands of the job.

  • $30/session, certain insurances accepted

  • Group led by Jill Jacobs, TLLP, a retired Southfield Police Sergeant

A specialized group for first responder spouses and significant others that offers a safe and empathetic environment to navigate the distinct challenges they face, and build resilience together.
