Layal is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Wayne State University. She provides a compassionate, supportive, and culturally sensitive approach to therapy, creating a safe environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their growth. Layal has experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, trauma-related experiences, and relationship difficulties. She also has experience in case management and community mental health services.
Layal utilizes a person-centered and integrative approach to therapy while incorporating mindfulness-based strategies, supportive reflection, and psychoeducation tailored to each client’s unique needs. She values authenticity, empathy, and collaboration in the therapeutic relationship and believes healing begins in an environment built on trust and understanding.
Layal is committed to helping clients build emotional insight, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
