Liz holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. She specializes in working with couples using the Gottman Method to strengthen emotional connection, enhance communication, and develop healthier conflict resolution skills. Faith-based counseling can also be integrated at each client’s level of comfort to support the development of healthier, Christ-centered relationships.
In her work with children, adolescents, and adults, Liz incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Strength-Based approaches to address anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, stress management, and relational concerns. She values a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship, partnering with clients as they navigate difficult circumstances, process emotions, and foster meaningful personal growth.
Liz also incorporates wellness-based practices to support overall well-being. Walk-and-talk therapy sessions are available upon request.
