Rachel is pursuing a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. She has an interest in Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, as well as The Gottman Method. Rachel looks forward to working with individuals, couples and families by creating a therapeutic environment for all clients that feels safe and collaborative. She brings 12 years of experience as an elementary special education teacher, in addition to 4 years of experience as a yoga instructor.  She believes in honoring clients where they are, where they want to go and how they want to get there, all while acknowledging and utilizing the unique strengths and resources they bring.
